Today is a skip day. I started off with a periodization workout, which the program worked great on finding good weights to workout with from my RPMs but had me do four sets. Which I did in 45 minutes. And my upper body feels fine. However the thighs have still not recovered from the squats. As far as I can tell, my form was good, but my legs are not used to the up and down motion of all 194.5 pounds of me. So I'm going home and rubbing them down with Tiger Balm again tonight and actually going to bed at 8pm.
I found a weight set at Academy in Baton Rouge that is comparable to cost to buying both sets at Wal-Mart, but the Academy set has dumbbell handles included and goes up to 160 lbs. of weight.
