So I'm back from New Year's trip with my parents. It was fun. I didn't win anything at the casino, but I got three days of work on the Educators' Guide and two days in the hotel fitness center! Woot!
The Bowflex machine was a let down. I made sure the machine was set on fifteen pounds, since that's the weight of my barbell at home. The chiro doesn't want me exercising with the max weight I can do, but on the Bowflex, it felt like nothing. I ended up doing three sets of fifteen reps, which was overdoing it. The next day I went back and got on the treadmill. Treadmills still scare me. I can't run on them, I can't let go of the rails, and I don't understand how the programs work and I can never finish one. Oh well, I think I'm glad I spent my money on free weights.
Tomorrow though, I'm staying inside with the yoga DVD. It's getting down to 28 degrees tonight. BELOW FREEZING! Not going to be outside before daylight unless I'm running to my car.
