Today isn't as bad as yesterday, but it still awful. We just lost two co-workers (one is only on half days, the other got sick).
The mail comes in buckets from the post office. In turn, the mailroom of the Department of Insurance sorts and brings us the mail with checks in them. Then we have to open and process the money and send the paperwork--if the company was bright enough to send backup documentation--to the proper division. Often because of volume, our mail is brought to us in buckets. We only had 2 and half today.
What I don't understand is scheduling deadlines for different division on the same day when we get all the money first. Alas it's not my place to question such things.
Okay I have 30 minutes free to write something. :p Bet it'll be answer emails.
