I still find it amazing that Titantic still tops the list. Over time theatre owners add more theaters and by simple math new movies should do more business.

I think most of these lists do take into account inflation for the money amounts. Have no idea if the consider number of theaters, or if they just figure short runs with more theaters equal longer runs with less theaters.
